Check Me Out!!!  That is me pictured with Roger Cook who is the Landscape Contractor on This Old House.  He was in Atlantic City for the Home Show on Saturday and was kind enough to let me snap a photo.  He is my Idol.

Despite the weather, we have been extremely productive over the past few weeks.  We finished 1 Eagle Court which is part of Cape May National Estates(Adjacent to Cape May National) as well as our project at 422 99th Street in Stone Harbor.  Check back tomorrow as I may have figured out how to upload images!!! 

1 Eagle Court is new construction and this job consisted of Paver Walkways, Complete Irrigation System, Grading, Planting Scheme and Sod.  The weather made this project extremely challenging but we managed and the place looks great. 

422 99th Street in Stone Harbor is a much smaller scale project but was also challenging.  This project includes Paver Patio and Front Walk, Stone Veneer Seat Wall, Grading, State of the Art Irrigation System, Planting Scheme, Landscape Lighting  and Sod.  A few highlights of this project include Micro Irrigation which delivers irrigation to very specific areas.  We hid microtubes behind the vinyl siding which enables us to water a series of Window Boxes without any visible tubing.  Also we continue to hone our skills with stacked stone veneer.  This system closely resembles actual Stacked Stone but is simply applied with mortar over a Block Wall or Foundation.  To bring this project to life at night, we installed downlights around the cap of the Seating Wall and used subtle Uplights to highlight the Front Collems and a Weeping Cherry. 

This week find us at 10019 Sunset Drive in Stone Harbor as we install an awesome fire pit then on to 207 Harvard Ave in Cape May Point for another "Extreme Landscape Makeover!!!"
